With this HAPPY HOLIDAYS RHYME
#impact Podcast host and producer Regina Larko celebrates all the wonderful people that took time to sit down for a recording with her over this past year.
Is making an impact, easier said than done?
Learning from these changemakers, I know it can also be fun.
Impacting the world one day at a time, with their programmes supporting worthy causes
THEY make our world SHINE.
Fanny fights waste, Jeff supports Hong Kong’s homeless
Matt counters human trafficking, Liz reduces stress.
Esther, Paul and Jess fight pollution, Patrick swaps for good,
Sue connects volunteers, Pol is the go-to urban farmer in your hood.
Cherry brings education to children, Jamie supports teens,
Givo makes donating easy, Sonalie is all about living green.
Mark innovates healthcare, Claudia runs schools for Indian children,
Samantha, Jeorge and Pia love volunteering – such inspiring young women.
Lavine dreams big with socially aligned coding, Célia and Lulla helped with #impact’s first ever live recording.
Xania impressed us with her infectious drive, so did Sarah and Belinda who help NGO’s thrive.
10×10 raised a huge sum in just one night, respect!
Enrich’s impact is also growing, and a recent report proved just that.
Bess won our heart with her passion for human rights, so did Jill who cares for animals and is ready to fight.
Alvin, Jackie, Clement, Dinh Long and Berenice gave us generous tips
how social innovation can be possible if you are aware of a few tricks.
Christina and Hannah bring Redress to new highs, Clean the World’s Shawn Seipler also shared the most amazing insights.
Hula’s Sarah loves pre-loved and so do we, and Retykling should be word of the year, don’t you agree?
Stef and Jen drive female empowerment from Shanghai to Hong Kong with their ideas worth spreading, and we hear more exciting things yet to come.
DJ told stories that we loved to hear, simulations that drive impact for more love and less fear.
These people are my heroes, they are driving impact
they believe in good, and really got it cracked
that you have to work hard and believe in your cause
push harder, move faster, hardly ever take a pause
but this year come Christmas, I hope they will take some time
to slow down, take a breath and are aware of how much light they shine
on all the causes that we need to address
when we want our world to be at its best.
Happy Holidays you all!
Keep doing what you are doing but promise to also take care of yourself and recharge your batteries over the holidays.
Love,
Regina
